Macro-Climate Weather Stations monitor weather parameters that are expected to remain same over larger areas. These measure Ambient Temperature, Ambient Relative Humidity, Rainfall, Wind Speed, Wind Direction and Solar Radiation.
Micro-Climate Weather Stations are compact and modular units which can be deployed within the crop canopy to measure the weather as perceived by the crop. These measure the Canopy Temperature, Canopy Relative Humidity, Leaf Wetness, Soil Moisture and Soil Temperature.
Both Macro and Micro Climate Weather Stations are solar powered, battery backed and communicate using wireless communication upto a radius of 1 km
